General Questions/New to Joomla! 5.x • Can't install Akeeba Backup

I am using Joomla 5.2.3 and trying to install Akeeba-Backup 9.9.11. However, no mater what way I try to install it I get the error:

Extension Install:
Package Install: There was an error installing an extension: com_akeebabackup-core.zip

Error installing package

However, I can't find an explanation for what the error may be or how to fix it. What am I missing here?

Akeeba KickStart has the same problem. Can anyone enlighten me with that error?
